Too many people living sick and diseased
I say we go out and flood the streets
Take back the land, it's ours to begin with
These mother fuckers living life without privilege
And I for one do believe that I was meant to live so free
Live so free
Live so free
We all deserve more from these bastards
If life’s a lesson then I am protesting
Too many people living sick and diseased
I say we go out and flood the streets
Take back the land, it's ours to begin with
These mother fuckers living life without privilege
And I for one do believe that I was meant to live so free
Live so free
Live so free
This life ain't enough to keep me going
I need something more to stop from exploding
We all deserve more from these bastards
If life’s a lesson then I am protesting
We all deserve more from these bastards
If life’s a lesson then I am protesting.
Do you hear me now?

The beginning riff set you up for a journey some people aren't ready for. This album is a masterpiece, I accidentally bought it twice but I'd buy it a third time ameier

Jon Mess is a lyrical beast. His scream is so unique and I'm in love with the fact that this project allows him to explore his voice a bit more (both literally and figuratively [those sing/screams on Honey Boo Buscemi and Meat Fetish are ufff]). Of course Will is the man, I see a different side of Matt (which is good), but i think the real star here is Martin. His heavier insight is truly what makes this album what it is. His riffs are heavy, progressive and oh so smart. Miguel Guzman
Boston indie rock stalwarts Pile pair lyrical brooding with their trademark askew chord progressions for a sense of magnificent tension. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 18, 2017
Boston quartet show what all the fuss is about with a new album of tales and tunes that manically explode and retract. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2015

Ended up listening to this while trying to understand what “swancore” is. Still not sure I get it, but at least I found an addictive album in the process. Alice M.
